Beside the very cheap Leap Motion I also got a very cheap Tobii 4c, so I could not pass that opportunity...
Doing the new Leap plugin (almost done!) has also encouraged me to look into other things. The current Tobii plugin works quite well with 4c (with old drivers, have not checked the newer ones), and even better with the absolute mouse, but, as I understand, it is somewhat outdated. I am not sure what it might be missing right now (beside the headtracking pitch). I also am not sure whether it would be better to update the existing one (which might make the EyeX incompatible...) or to write a separate plugin for the newer devices (but then I do not have 5, which also adds some new stuff)?
P.S. The only issue I have with the existing plugin for now is that it does not seem to terminate correctly, i.e. I cannot stop and restart a script - I have to leave FreePIE completely to make it work again...

I am trying to start the plugin and it does not go very well yet, but even so I have encountered an odd problem: just placing the Tobii dll in the plugins directory hangs FreePIE... This is odd, as other libraries (e.g. for Vjoy and SlimDX) reside there without problems?
