Banned Players can Join Server, BanManager displays them as Banned. (Velocity)

Server Setup:
Proxy (with BanManager, WebEnhancer and Database)
Backend 1-4
Limbo

Behavior: Player gets banned using BanManager, does not get Kicked from Server or Similar, Console shows no output. Chat says

Same behavior when name is spelled/capitalized correctly

No form of console output

Please help
