Can't get Nether Key achievement #344

I made a new world in the 1.3.1.1-Beta.

I've tried crafting the nether key in the TiC crafting station, then the vanilla crafting table, then the player's 2x2 crafting grid and none of those gave me the achievement. I then made a fresh world and cheated in the ingredients and tried crafting the key and it didn't work. Is there something I need to do before I can craft the key?

Given the amount of achievements and how frustrating this particular issue is on gameplay, it might be nice to have the Better Achievements mod:

https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/betterachievements

In 1.7.10 this mod allows a player to unlock any achievement by right-clicking on it in creative mode, which would be a good way around the problem. It also gives the player tabs for each achievement page so you don't have to spam click the button, and run the risk of clicking too many times. Just a handy little mod that makes life in large modpacks extra pleasant.

I did not test this mod in Divergence, but I've played with it in another modpack for 1.7.10.

Sorry to keep banging on this but it's gated my progress in the modpack. Is there a way to use the /achievement command to give the achievement? I don't know where to find the internal ID for the achievement, but I guess it would look like

/achievement give netherachievementname Fuhrmaaj

I found the fragments in a dungeon and crafted one into a key. I don't know what else the achievement could want from me so I would be satisfied with cheating in a solution if I could figure out how to.

Not sure how it's messing up for you. Works perfectly fine on my end. Will investigate more soon.

I tried making a new world, cheating in the crafting ingredients and crafting the key but it did not give me the achievement. Is this the same for you? If that's not the case then I've really messed something up.

Workaround:

/achievement give achievement.netherUnlock <player_name>
/achievement give achievement.endUnlock <player_name>
