An Elden Ring/Mario Kart style system where there's a slot that is assigned to a consumable that get's tabbed between. When an item runs out slot it is filled with next item so there's always something useable there.

Consider making consumables expire so there is more incentive to use them.

The point of consumables is to have lots of stuff to pick up. Also enables crafting system.

Consumable types

  • Healing
  • Mobility - Jump/Dash
  • Special Attacks
  • Buffs
  • Debuffs
