Currently, we adhere to the Nextflow core guidelines in our Nextflow pipelines. However, since our pipelines are not part of the Nextflow-core and cannot support all the features of the Nextflow-core guidelines, the guidelines we follow and that are applicable from Nextflow-core must be documented in our CONTRIBUTING document.

Add instructions/note on .gitattributes file and its expectations.
