Detecting and tracking the placozoa throughout the whole movie

The organism is moving under the microscope and is changing its shape.
Being able to track both its position and shape during the span of the acquisition
is a first step towards understanding its behavior.

Difficulties

  • There are particles moving around that might impair the good detection of the shape
  • The placozoa is sometimes moving outside of the field of view
  • Towards the end of the movie the camera is changing its position

The latest difficulty might be significantly harder to cope with. One could decide to
discard that part of the movie at least at the beginning.
