[BUG]: outputs should be emptied once an input is disconnected #4272

Describe the bug
I don't think outputs should be maintained in an operator if the input is disconnected

Expected behavior
The outputs should be reset to the default blank one once the input is disconnected

To reproduce
Issues in the video:

My 'Default Configuration' is still in the output once I disconnect the input
By the end of the video I shouldn't have two selectable outputs in the drilldown
