Looks like this only affects the combination of Xpra + Capella 7.0.0.

Able to reproduce:

  • Capella 7.0.0 with Xpra

Unable to reproduce:

  • Capella 7.0.0 with Guacamole
  • Capella 6.0.0 with Xpra

It looks like this can be fixed by adding &clipboard_preferred_format=UTF8_STRING, we should investigate if this breaks anything before doing it though.

Fixed for now by adding that URL parameter, checking in Xpra-org/xpra-html5#365 to see if this is intended behavior.
