In relation to #52, @duaneking adds:
While I don't think we want to try to build a totally hidden physics simulation, to accomplish the sort of thing you're describing, this is how I see it fitting well into the WheelMUD paradigm:
For "falling off the table", a Table could have a Contextual Command which lets child entities that are "on" it to fall (becoming children of the room instead).
