Search bar in the Explore page

The Search bar in the Explore field takes a lot of time to run.
For e.g. if I put "mus musculus" and click Search, nothing happens for a long time, and THEN there is an update.
We should

• Accelerate the output
  or
• At least display some progression / wheel to say that something is going on
  Also needs to block further searches if something is ongoing

In addition: The search bar "Enter" action does nothing, should be the same as clicking on the "Search" button
