I think it would be great if a timer, accompanied by a stop/continue button, could be integrated into the GNOME title bar as shown in the picture below. It would make the app more convenient because users wouldn't need to switch apps to monitor the timer.

Thanks for the suggestion! GNOME Shell integration has been on my mind for some time now, and now that Flowtime has the screensaver feature, using an extension as a companion would be better than the workaround we currently have. I think this would be a neat addition to it too.

I think we could implement a persistent notification similar to the music player, including pause and skip buttons, for managing the timer if GNOME supports such functionality.
