Since Bernie (I-VT) is from my home state, I admit there's some bias here. The With or Against Party section should probably be grayed out or blocked for Indepedent congresspersons. Unless you're basing this on a tag of "who he caucuses with" in which case I think it's fine.

I will take a look at this; understand the point. we are pulling voting information from the sunlight foundation so we might want to leave this as they are reporting it. suspect it is based on caucus affiliation but will look into it and see what options there are.
Bernie Sanders is not a Democrat or Republican, his official affiliation is just "Independent", which is what we report. But he does caucus with the Democrats, and (in my personal opinion) it's fair to consider him as such for certain aggregations.
