          Not for this PR, but it would be good to implement some kind of config validator at some point in the future. Alternatively, we can parse parameters that rely on each other as a type which enforces the rules.

Low prio and not yet clear if we really want this, but it could be better to validate the sanity of config/CLI params instead of adding preventive "hacks" in the code.
