December 4 Release
- Fixed an issue that caused many systems to show as not existing
December 3 Release
- Mecha will now put a warning icon (
⚠️ ) next to systems that have an ongoing Thargoid invasion and give a warning message for cases in such systems. - !station will now avoid suggesting stations that are damaged, abandoned, or under attack.
Huge thanks to Absolver's work on the Fuel Rats Systems API to make this possible, and to the rats who helped us gather testing data.
December 2 Release
- Mecha will now automatically fetch your CMDR info when making a manual rat signal as a registered rat
- Mecha will now detect when a client rejoins from the same IP address but with a different nickname and avoid creating a duplicate case for them.
- Cleaned up the formatting of the !whois command to be a little bit cleaner
- !whoami will now include the starter zone tag just like !whois
- Fixed a bug where a system corrected from a rejoining client would not update the board.
- Improved error message when assign fails due to not being able to find a CMDR on the appropriate platform.

- Mecha will now refuse to make a carrier assign between a rat and a rescue if one is in Live mode and the other is in legacy.

Frontier is doing Frontier things again
With today's release Frontier has officially dropped development of 3.8 version of Elite Dangerous and renamed it to "Legacy mode" as a result a number of changes are made to Mecha:
- Horizons 3.8 and Horizons 4.0 are now referred to as Legacy (LEG) and Horizons (HOR) in mecha messages and command arguments.
- "LEG" and "HOR" are now supported as arguments in commands like !mode and !mymode for setting the game version.
- H3_SIGNAL and H4_SIGNAL are renamed to LEG_SIGNAL and HOR_SIGNAL respectively.
- The !horizons command is back and will now set a case to live Horizons mode (Previously Horizons 4.0)
Unrelated addition:
When responding privately to a channel command like !list Mecha will now use the new irc "channel context" feature. This means that in supporting IRC clients (currently only IRCCloud) the private message will show for you in the channel you used the command, not in a private window.
