What's expected

  • Clicking the Back button should navigate back to the ‘about-the-deceased’ route without appending an extra # to the URL.
  • Navigation forward should not include any unnecessary or malformed characters in the route.

What happened

  • The route in the address bar changes to .../about-the-deceased#/.
  • When navigating forward again, the URL includes the additional # appended to the path.
  • This causes a disruption in the expected navigation flow.

How to replicate

  1. Open the application in the Firefox browser.
  2. Navigate to the ‘Death of a Loved One’ workflow.
  3. Fill in all required fields and navigate to results page.
  4. Click the browser’s Back button to return to navigate fully back to the Intro component while making note of the URL changes
