Reporting Issues

Log Files

When reporting an issue it is sometimes useful to upload log or configuration files to help diagnose the problem. Pasting such files directly into an issue comment takes up a lot of space and also makes it difficult to read. A common solution is to use a service such as pastebin.com that host text files in much the same way as imgur does for images.

When asked to provide Hearthstone Deck Tracker log files, use the following steps:

• Try and replicate the issue you are having

• Then go to options

• Click Settings then Open Data Folder

• In the newly opened explorer window open the Logs folder

• Attach the most recent log file hdt_log.txt to your Github issue
