Hi team,

Copying over and a message in our email thread. Feel free to contribute ideas to the template. @clnsmth I have seen fill-in issue templates in other repositories, any ideas how to make one for ours?

A bug report should include these details:

  • The problem in detail, with error messages both in the GUI and on the console. Screenshot is good.
  • The config in the GUI. for example, what is selected in the "Raw Data" tab -- this will affect things downstream. Screenshot is good.
  • The DOI and specific data table used.
  • Describe how you loaded the functions (install from Github vs devtools::load_all vs sourcing files).
  • Paste in the information from a call to sessionInfo() in the R console. This will give the OS, what packages are loaded, etc.

@atn38, feel free to pursue a template. I've never made one.

Hello @clnsmth, according to Github's tutorial here https://help.github.com/en/articles/creating-issue-templates-for-your-repository one goes to the "Settings" menu to do so. I don't have access to this menu atm.

I've updated your account permissions @atn38. Do you have access now?
