OK, this may seem a little stupid. I only recently started testing spaceFM and I like it so far. The first time I opened the app I found it strange that it contains no File/etc menu and virtually no toolbars but I adjusted to using the context menus instead.
No I wanted to check out some plugins. The manual says that you need to install them from the Plugins menu. Naturally this hints that I have a bug on my hands. It seems spaceFM fails to integrate into Unity's global menu. What's strange is that usually it falls back to showing the menu bar underneath the global menu but in my case it's not there.
Or did I misinterpret things?

I haven't had a chance to look into this, but spacefm has no relationship to unity, so I would more suspect this of being a case where unity is not properly handling a plain gtk app. I suggest reporting the issue to them. Thanks for the report.
