If the camera doesn't show up in SpaceFM looking like a usb stick, then the camera is likely set to use ptp or another transfer protocol. These aren't supported directly by SpaceFM or udevil.
If you find out how to mount your camera via the command line, you can add a custom menu item to the Devices right-click menu, which can mount the device and open the mount point. You also might be able to add the fstype to udevil.conf to have udevil handle it.
I'll leave this issue open for a bit in case anyone else has info on what's available. Also check your camera's settings to see if it can be accessed as a removable drive vs ptp, etc. You also might want to add here what protocol your camera uses, or the model.
It does show up on pcmanfm. I'm not sure if shows as a USB. My camera doesn't have a USB option. I can mount it via gphoto2. I'll try and see if I can mount it to a folder.
How do I view mounted digital cameras?
