NASA International Space Apps Challenge 2023

We are facilitating a global event this year, which has not had a Las Vegas component since 2019.

The NASA International Space Apps Challenge is happening on 7 and 8 October 2023, and our own @DanHugoDanHugo is the NASA-designated Local Lead for the Greater Vegas area. Since we have Monthly Hackathon Meetups already, we have the pieces in place to enable a practice session or two (August and September) and we are already working on outreach beyond Nevada for interested participants anyway!

There is a Local Event Page for Las Vegas on the NASA portal, where anyone can find more information and sign up!

Please note, our event will be a hybrid event, enabling participation from Reno, Beyond Nevada, and perhaps beyond this planet. We are offering long-term residents of Area 51 the option to form teams with their colleagues back home to participate, if they would like to.
