So up to this day I was using Unexp. Keyb. in version 1.29.1 and didn't know that there was several updates (normaly I'm using f-droid app for info about updates but couple weeks ago I've "play" with debug versions and forget to go back to f-droid one). And today I discovered that UK has new version (1.30.3) but to be able to make an update from f-droid I was forced to uninstall the previous/older one (different signatures). Fresh new installation of UK version 1.30.3 forced me to set up the keyboard as it was done in 1.29.1 and when I was prepared to paste my custom layout I wasn't able to do it because when I was trying to select the default layout in editor it's immediately goes back to blinking cursor (for some reason selection "resets" itself). I can't call up the options bar either (the one with cut, copy, paste and several others).
Right now I go around the problem by installing older version of the app form f-droid (the 1.29.1 because I know it has working editor), do the set up with pasting the layout and after that update to the latest version.
Edit:
From quick tests it looks like this issue occurs on android 6 (I've checked a7 and a8 and there are no problems with that) so I assume it's related only to this OS version, probably (tested github and f-droid version 1.30.3). Second thing is that I'm able to select the content of layout editor window with physical BT keyboard (shift+arows working, same with ctrl+x/c/v). The last thing, this problem is related only to UK layout editor, in other apps, where I can work with text, selection (and mentioned bar with "edit" options) is working normally, same with text box to test keyboard in main window of the app.
