Transparent Panels Elsewhere?

Hello!

I've been using Lightly for a while now, and I've loved it, ever since I saw one of LinuxScoop's videos on KDE theme-ing. I immediately enabled the transparent sidebar in Dolphin, and it looks beautiful! Is there a way that could be brought to other side-bar type elements? For example, the circled area in the screenshot below...

I'm not sure what would be needed in order to make that work, but I think it could look good. If anyone can explain why it won't work, or why I'm wrong, I'll be glad to hear it! :-)
