Here is a visual glitch that @amb5l observed - actually this video is from him and it was taken on an R6 machine. The issue is visible on @amb5l 's machine using the officially released V5.1 core as well as the "HyperRAM painkiller" V5.2 Alpha 1 (see also issue #145):
OCVideo.742045795.814003.mp4
@paich64 confirmed, that on his R6, either using V5.1 or using V5.2 Alpha 1 this issue is not visible .
Currently unclear if it is visible on @MJoergen 's machine.
So we unfortunately again have a shaky HyperRAM situation where on some R6 machine we do have glitches and on others we don't.
Currently it is an experience / heuristic, that HyperRAM issues are occuring only on R6 boards, so currently, there is no evidence, that the problem might occur on R3 machines, after we fixed issue #55 . Maybe @sho3string , since you experienced an issue back in the days in 2023 (documented in issue #55), could you please run TreuLove using the latest official V5.1 release on your R3 machine that had the issue back in the days and confirm that TreuLove still works like a charme? And... ...just to get more R6 data points, also test on your R6? Same question goes out to @mpryon - can you confirm that TreuLove still works like a charme on your R3 using the officially released V5.1 version of the C64 core?
