General Feedback

  • If you have a slide deck, don't feel you have to replicate the info one-to-one on both the markdown plan and the slides. Just creates duplicate work, and means you have to update 2 things instead of 1 if something changes
  • Suggest to make the markdown lesson plan more general, or reference the slides.
  • Need to link slides upfront though and not at the bottom
  • There are items on the slides not covered in the lesson plan and vice versa. They should still align with each other, hence having the lesson plan be a general version of the slides. Try to keep 1 source of truth

The first unit test - An example

  • Do they do this themselves with you guiding them? If not, then they should. Good opportunity for a hands-on activity
  • You should see all diamonds green, meaning all of the tests passed. - put a screenshot of that here
  • Add a brief description of what the associated slides are used for
