If you have a slide deck, don't feel you have to replicate the info one-to-one on both the markdown plan and the slides. Just creates duplicate work, and means you have to update 2 things instead of 1 if something changes
Suggest to make the markdown lesson plan more general, or reference the slides.
Need to link slides upfront though and not at the bottom
There are items on the slides not covered in the lesson plan and vice versa. They should still align with each other, hence having the lesson plan be a general version of the slides. Try to keep 1 source of truth
