Mermaid picture is not placed under text

I am using the pdf export tool to generate a work instruction. All is working fine but on a larger mermaid diagram, in the pdf is a large space offset between the text and the diagramm. I have unfortunately no idea how to modify this amount of white space in the pdf. Is there a way? When I do a smaller mermaid, all is working fine.
