VRRP: Make sure VMAC is locally received If the Backup router transitions to Master, then it is possible that we have an FDB entry with the VMAC pointing to the IPL from the period where the router was a Backup router. At some point this entry will age-out and be notified to the driver. Given FDB entries are indexed by {MAC, FID}, this will cause the driver to delete the static entry pointing the VMAC to the router port. Make sure that the SW and HW datapaths are in-sync by configuring a static entry that points the VMAC to the bridge netdev itself. Signed-off-by: Ido Schimmel <[email protected]>
