Persona 2 - Tsumi - Innocent Sin (Japan) (English Patch): Black screen

After the Hitler fight, the game gets stuck on a black screen, preventing progress. Background music can be heard during the black screen.
Unfortunately, I cannot reliably reproduce this issue with a save state.
