Add zoom control buttons

It's quite tricky to get the desired zoom level (when using a trackpad), so I think adding +/- buttons would simplify the process without cluttering the interface too much.

Is this okay? Needs styling etc. Trying to work out why the zoom +/- buttons aren't there by default.
