Hi, First of all, i'm not used to solder little circuits together (although i am not scared of trying out) but i don't know much about circuits and stuff. So the rotary senor has four connections which are named GND, UCC, NC and SIG and i really don't know which one is which and where to set the pin on the raspberry pi :) The wiki recommends another rotary sensor which has the the connections named CLK, DT, SW, + and GND... So does anyone know how to translate these names to my inputs? GND = ground (okay, thats really easy) I have tried to google for this names/abbreviations but although my google skills are not that bad i have found... nothing... :( Help? Anyone? :) |

okay, as usual.... :) I have found some explanation about the ky-040 rotary (https://funduino.de/nr-32-der-rotary-encoder-ky-040) that told me I have read it wrong and UCC is VCC and is the power input. So: GND = GND = GND |

So:
GND = GND = GND
VCC = + = 5V
NC = ?? = GPIO5/6
SIG = ?? = GPIO5/6
