So the launcher ISNT in this repo? I see there's an imgui branch so I assumed that's what was being used.

there's linux builds of the launcher here but no info on where to actually put it so it can launch the built game

Do you know where to put it?

So where exactly do I need to put the folders from the zip of the linux launcher? Would be great to actually have that information written down somewhere, e.g. in the manual building section.

The linux native launcher looks for the "sm64plus" built game folder inside the bin folder, so the file structure looks like. Only the important files are shown all the other files are still needed. Note that upper case SM64Plus is an executable while lowercase
is a folder created when you clone the repo.
