send keys selection on Droid X not visible. i.e. white text on white backround?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. try and build a control + esc key sequence.
2. I can't see the letters I am selecting until I select them

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
0,1,2,3,4,5,6,..... a,b,c,d,e, ...esc.

recent version of ultra vnc on windows xp professional

What is the size of the desktop you are trying to access (i.e. 1024x768,

input mode touch pad and zoom
local mouse pointer off
force full-screen bitmap off
24 bit color.
