Sent Text Problem Wrong Text Being Sent

What steps will reproduce the problem?
When i 'send text' on my htc desire hd the wrong text is sent.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Eg i send the word 'Test' but 'Ngbn' is sent instead

What version of android-vnc-viewer are you using?
0.4.7

Which VNC server/version are you using?  On which platform?
tightvncserver on ubuntu

What is the size of the desktop you are trying to access (i.e. 1024x768,
1920x1080...)?
1024x800

What device are you using?
htc desire hd

Are you using a custom ROM?  If so, which?
