g-w CI runs in /work/noaa/stmp on MSU machines Hercules and Orion. Some GDASApp ctests exercise pieces of g-w CI. These tests fail on Hercules and Orion when run by MSI role account role-da. This account does not belong to the stmp group.

MSU ticket #2025010854000354 was submitted requesting that role-da be added to stmp. While we wait for this ticket to be resolved, GDASApp PR #1434 included modifications to ci/run_ci.sh to change the RUNDIR for g-w CI from work/noaa/stmp to work/noaa/da. This is only a temporary patch until role-da is added to the stmp group.

This issue is opened as a reminder to revert the PR #1434 change to ci/run_ci.sh after role-da is added to the stmp group.
