What is wrong?

The Gaea-C5 OS upgrade updated version numbers for PrgEnv-intel, craype, and intel-classic, which are prerequisites for spack-stack-1.6.0.

What should have happened?

spack-stack-1.6.0 should load within submodules and workflow/gw_setup.sh script.

What machines are impacted?

All or N/A

What global-workflow hash are you using?

develop

Steps to reproduce

  1. clone GW
  2. cd sorc
  3. ./build_*.sh
    All submodules fail.

No response

Do you have a proposed solution?

EPIC SI team is working on re-installing spack-stack-1.6.0. It should be completed by 20241017.

Update build scripts on Gaea-C5 to conform with ufs-wx-model and glob…

After the recent Gaea-C5 OS upgrade, GDASApp fails to build.
This issue corrects Gaea-C5 build and updates the build scripts to
conform to ufs-wx-model (following ufs-wx-model
ufs-community/ufs-weather-model#2448) and
eventual global-workflow updates.

Add/fix build capability for Gaea-C5, Gaea-C6, and container (#87)

After the recent Gaea-C5 OS upgrade, gfs_utils fails to build.
This corrects Gaea-C5 build, adds Gaea-C6 build capability (following
ufs-wx-model

and adds containerized build capability.
