would you consider adding velicity (for... everything !) and elbow position to the OSC output messages ?
(I'm using it to draw fingers / hands in VR, having the additional elbow position would be cool :-)

yes I will consider adding both velocity and elbow position, but I can't give you a timeframe on either of these. While for the elbow there is not much you can do, for velocity you could calculate it in your VR environment using the full vector?
sure velocity could be derived from position, but the one returned by the leapMotion is more accurate because it's not dependant of the fulctuating framerate of VR rendering
