Issue Description
Describe the bug
For a strange circumstance, when booting the distribution the scaling of the monitor is set to 125% by default. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but it does cause visual inconsistencies such as icons looking flat white in some areas of the UI, like in Index due to a bug with Kirigami-based icon loading.
Steps to reproduce the bug
Expected behavior
All icons look fine.

virtual GPU.I don't know if the scaling problem has something to do with the refresh rate.
