Could this be two repositories? One with the source and the other with the Examples and Precompiled Firmware?

I want to add MCU update to my existing project, and this is a great library. I would like to add it as a dependency to my project and use the MCU components but there are a lot of additional components, like the examples and precompiled firmware. I was thinking it would be nice if there were two repositories, one with everything in the Source directory and another which referenced it with all the other code to show how to use it.
