Idea

There are stops that are served not on regular schedule, but only on diversion, for tram replacement service, or by vehicles coming from the depot or returning to it.

Add a question asking for that type of servicing.

Regards!

I agree that it would make sense to tag this.

The question is: what would be the appropriate tagging? Does https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:on_demand%3Dyes describe what you think of? Based on the wiki this is only added to routes and not individual platforms.

Also ideally we find a way to avoid asking this question for every platform, because most of the time the answer will be "no".

Okay I got it. Thanks for the explanation. I couldn't find any pre-existing way of tagging this in OSM. not_served_by seems related but it doesn't fit our use case.

In some cases tagging disused may be reasonable but certainly not for every case.

Perhaps a tag like served=yes/no/regularly/irregularly/on_demand/... should be proposed.
