Following the example of the existing Enable light monitor and GPIO pin for light sensor setting pair, add the settings:

  • Enable camera light before the existing GPIO pin for camera light setting.
  • Enable IRcut before the existing GPIO pin1 for IRcut and GPIO pin2 for IRcut settings.

Since most cheap IP cameras don't have a real light sensor, integrate the Auto nightmode on devices without a light sensor script in Majestic and:

  • Add the script settings to the Majestic settings:
again_high_target=14000
again_low_target=2000
  • Change the Enable light monitor setting from (Off / On) to (Off / Use the light sensor / Use the image sensor's analog gain value).

I apologize if suggestions can't be posted here.

Thank you. What about the other suggestions?

It would be nice to have these settings, because when I temporary don't use light or IR filter feature in the night mode, I don't want to clear and lose the corresponding pin number and I don't want to save the pin numbers somewhere else.

Thank you, I will look into this issue, colleagues.
This is interesting, I have some ideas and after the weekend I will give feedback.
