Curios with durability do not get repaired by the xp pump upgrade when equipped

Describe the bug
When a curio is equipped that has durability on it and mending it does not get checked by the xp pump upgrade to be repaired with mending.

To Reproduce

1. Install curios, sophisticated backpacks, elytra slot (aether gloves and charged charms have this issue as well so it is probably not specific to any mod)
2. Enchant the elytra with mending
3. Equip the elytra
4. Give yourself a backpack, tank upgrade, xp pump
5. Fill the tank with xp
6. Use the elytra to damage it

Expected behavior
It should repair the elytra while it is equipped.
