crash-2025-01-18_17.35.40-client.txt

Describe the bug
Placing the backpack down in the world causes a crash to the game.
I don't know if it's relevant, but the backpack did have its texture changed.
The crash log suspects a mod called "Better Third Person" to be the reason.
Also, apparently the world doesn't crash when re-opening it, and the backpack is on the ground after re-logging.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Put backpack down on the ground.
  2. It crashes?

Expected behavior
The backpack being placed on the ground without crashing.

Screenshots
Don't think I can get a screenshot from before the crash, but if any other screenshots are required, I'll try to get them?

that is by far not the latest 1.18.2 version, does it happen with the latest?

I'm playing this mod as part of a modpack, so I'm not sure if updating this mod would have any impact on the rest of the modpack. Also, I'm also having trouble reproducing it even when staying in the current version.
Do I need to update the mod to test this?

Well, either update the mod and test it out, or let modpack dev know about the issue and have them update the mod and test if it still crashes.

anything you would like to add here or should I just close?

Ah, right, we figured out that the issue was with a compatibility mod that didn’t get updated with your fix.

Sorry for not updating you with that information
