1. setting the repo  (jenkins.io)

sudo wget -O /etc/yum.repos.d/jenkins.repo https://pkg.jenkins.io/redhat-stable/jenkins.repo
sudo rpm --import https://pkg.jenkins.io/redhat-stable/jenkins.io.key

2. install java 

amazon-linux-extras install java-openjdk11 -y 
java -version


3. install git,maven and jenkins 

yum install git maven jenkins -y

4. starting jenkins

systemctl start jenkins.service
systemctl status jenkins.service

5. connecting to server

IPV4:8080 -- > BROWSER

ALLOW 8080 PORT ON SG ( GIVE ALL TRAFFIC -- > ANYWHERE)
