Please describe the bug

  • Lack of consideration for timesteps where neither heating nor cooling is required.
  • Missing constraint to prevent heating power from exceeding the nominal heating load.
  • No definition of a non-heating period.

Please describe the changes

  • Timesteps Without Heating or Cooling: Accounting for timesteps where neither heating nor cooling is needed.
  • Constraint for Heating Power: Adding a constraint to ensure that the calculated heating power
  • 𝑄_𝐻𝐶 remains less than or equal to the nominal heating load.
  • Night Setback Option: Introducing an option for a night setback that allows a lower set temperature in winter and a higher set temperature in summer during nighttime hours (22:00–04:59).
  • No-Heating Season Definition: Defining a no-heating season from day number 135 to 259 of the year, ensuring the heating system is inactive during this period.

The 4th and 5th point should fix: #20 . But I think they are different nature than the first three points.
