MacOS second screen stays green (Problem)

Hello together,
my problem is that after installing and opening the Safe Exam Browser my second monitor stays full green but the mouse is still there. So the screen is detected and connected and probably working.
Furthermore if I connect the Monitor onto my MacBook two times (one with USB-C to HDMI and with a dongle) the second connected way works but the first is green. If you change the order of connection always the second connection works and the first one stays green.
Therefore I would say that the Monitor and cables are working(as they were before starting the SEB) and it is a software problem.

How was my first startup of the app:

• my Macbook screen was closed and I only used my external monitor
• I got the red message that external monitors aren't allowed therefore I opened my Macbookdisplay
• it switched to the Macbook display and the external monitor is now on a green screen

What I tried so far:

• restart, shut down (wait 5 min) and start
• reconnected the cables at various ways

Only solution so far:

• connect the display over two ways, therefore the first connection is green and the second connection can be used

Firmware: MacOS Ventura 13.2.1 and SEB 3.2.2

I would be really thankful if anyone can help me to fix that problem.

After another testing, by booting windows on my MacBook and then boot macOS, it looks like it fixed it. I don't know why, but eventually it can help if someone else experiences this issue.
