HI,

I am using the emulate tag script with PN532 and it's working fine but after a few tries or even one it will freeze i think or will stop working and then I would need to restart it

Do you have any idea how to fix this?

Thank You.

Hello, has this issue been resolved? If not, please provide more information.

Hi,

Thank you for getting back to me. Unfortunately, the issue has not been resolved yet. Here's a bit more information:

  • I'm using the PN532 with an emulate tag script, and while it works initially, it tends to freeze or stop responding after a few tries (sometimes even after one try).
  • When it freezes, the debug output from the Arduino is still running, so it doesn’t seem like the Arduino itself has stopped working. However, I can no longer detect the tag or write to it.
  • I’ve tried using multiple PN532 NFC chips and three different Arduinos, but the problem persists across all setups.
  • I have to restart the whole system to get it working again, but it eventually runs into the same issue.

Do you have any suggestions on what might be causing this? Could it be something with the library or a timing issue in the communication between the Arduino and the PN532?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.

@yogev2255 Are you using an SPI interface, an IIC interface, or a serial port library?
