Hangs after pre-allocating all the files

What did you expect to happen?

After preallocating all of the files, it should begin downloading the files.

Instead of that, what actually happened?

Application hangs after all the files have been pre-allocated, fails to start downloading. in task manager the application is still using some memory (around 50ish MB) but does not use the network at all.
