File deleted from remote does not get deleted on local even with -validate

Files no longer present on remote should be deleted on local when -validate flag is provided

Instead of that, what actually happened?

Files no longer present on remote stayed on local

Additional Information

I use this to get Arma 3 workshop mods on my headless machine for server and repo purposes.
When a mod gets updated, often signing keys are changed. I then got automation that will find all present keys and export them, this however is not usable right now as old keys are kept.
