Sync subs to different cuts?

I have a problem where I'd like to syncronise subtitles that are made for a different "cut" of an episode.
So the subtitles have the same timings (same fps) up until a point where the cut is different, between the scenes where it fades out or something.
And there are like a dozen or two of these points in each episode.
Think of the advertisements being cut by hand from HDTV, but in this case it's AMZN having a tighter cuts compared to PCOK.

My solution so far is to search for these points by hand and shift the rest of the subs from that point, but I'm looking for an easier and quicker solution if possible.

So I have the video, I have the original embedded subs of it, but I only have a translated sub for a different cut.
And they are not the same subtitle structure either, meaning the dialogs are split differently and such, so I cannot just copy the translated text into the embedded subtitle.

I would imagine that the number of subtitles may vary by language, which would make it fairly tricky to spot these “cuts”. And if the studio cut out parts of the dialogue then it would be even more difficult.

I found that I can "Seek silence" (generate waveform and right click) to search for these parts, making the manual adjustments less painful.
