I use Tauon for not only music but also podcasts. For example, I have one playlist with 200+ >1hr podcast episodes. It becomes an issue to remember:
what episode you were last playing
where in the episode you left off
This becomes an issue both when shifting to playing music and then back, as well as restarting Tauon.
Of course, you'd probably not want this to be default behavior, which is why I propose for it to be a playlist setting.
I could also see this being useful for longer albums which might not be finished in one sitting but where you'd still want to be able to resume the listening experience later.

Okay I've committed this feature now. It will appear in the next version of Tauon as "Set Use Persistent Time" in the "Misc" section of the playlist tab context menu.
