Would be nice if the Simple tag editor would be impoved with more fields. Having transisioned from Windows to Linux fairly recently, mostly been using Music Bee, it had a great tag editor.

Today it just has.

Track title
Album-name
Artist-name
Album Artist-name

I miss to easily tag multiple composers, original artist etc. I would hope that the Simple Tag Editor would transistion into a Advanced Tag Manager with more tags and be able to choose Album art directly through the Tag Manager.

I don't have any immediate plans to expand the built in tag editor currently. But you can use an external editor such as Picard (if using Flatpak, you'll need to provide the permission as mentioned here)

You can change from Picard to a different editor by changing a setting in Tauons config file. (Just, after editing each album you'll need to press "rescan tags" manually, but with Picard; Tauon can do that automatically)

Ok.
Yes, i tried it. Found it to be more of an hack solution to be honest.
